19' Sevas Forged R55, Rubbin Issue on C55 AMG.
Was up Guys well were should i start, I have not been on the forums in a little while but i always come to learn from the best, I purchased some Sevas forged 3 piece wheels R55 from Sevas them self's for my C55 and let me tell you it was the most longest and the most rubbish customer service you can ever find remind you I waited 5 mouths for the wheels, which the order was placed since December of 07 and it was received one week ago. Well that's besides that point I received the wheels and they look amazing good quality and nice style but they still messed up on the color, but ill live it was ordered at a Matt Black which was a shine coat but instead i got a flat black but you guys can tell me what you think, I went 19x8.5f and 19x9.5r w/ 265/30/19 in the rear and boy let me tell you it was rubbing like CRAZY so just for time being I ended up putting temp spacers that's sold at your local part store to rise the rear and inch, I took it to my body shop and they told me they can widen the fenders then I would be able to put the coilovers and then slam the car, has any one ever dealt with the rubbing issue? and besides widen the fenders any suggestions? thks guys -ravi ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

got same size wheels & tires in the rear (but i'd don't know the off-set) + brabus springs (rear wheels look like they are inside the wheel well... very slammed)
... my rear fenders are only rolled & there's is only light occasional rubbing ... try another body-shop or knowledgable tire shop.

Ravi, it looks really good. Try talking to Sevas and send the rears back so they can send you the correct offset. Looking at the pics the wheels come pretty far out of the fender. Theres a lot of rolling fenders to do.

I am also thinking about widening the rear fenders because one side is rubbing.
My current body shop figured out that the Mercedes body shop didn't do a precise job when they repaired my right rear fender. So are you planning to widen your rear fender?

that's one of my options the body shop told me it can be done, i mean it would give the car an aggressive look. as for the rubbing on one side i noticed my left side driver side rubs more than the other as well but yes i will end up widen the fender.

double check the offset with Sevas. if the offset is 42 you are probably rubbing on the inside like eric said. if you are rubbing on the outside most likely it is rubbing on the tabs sticking out inside where the bumper and the fender meets. check your tires you should be able to see the rub marks on the sidewall.
