Aftermarket Front Grill w/Star
Guys, I wanted your opinion on this. Is $185 including shipping and handling too much to pay for a replacement grill w/star incorporated within the grill along with emblem to cover previous hood star?

that's about how much i paid for mine about 1/2 a year ago. now you can get cheaper ones on Ebay from a dude named auto_rice (or something alike). I am sure the one you had your eyes on ($18x.xx) is a Buy It Now deal. Well, if you can wait, just wait for the auction ends, and your bidding price will always be lower than BIN.

this seems increadibly cheap to me. Make sure it is Schatz brand, that is the good brand from germany, they make stuff for MBUSA, tips, door handle shells, and headlight rings. Many of the MB Dealers (Park Place, House of Imports, and Houston Greenway) carry this brand alond with Airpress and Oberklasse. The other stuff is cheap stuff from some small asian country. The chrome is different with the Schatz brand, they nickle plate and then chrome the plastic, so the chrome has no blemishes and does not flake. The other stuff is called Eugene or IDFR, do not buy it, it flakes off.
