Hi All,

First post...here is my problem:

I have the option of buying either a CPO (certified pre-owned) 2005 c55 with 8,500 miles...or...a CPO 2006 c55 with 16,500 miles.

All things being equal price, condition, options, service records, one owner, car fax, etc.

Which one should I get...I do not plan on putting many miles on it (5k per year). It will be a weekend car and I will keep it for at least 5 years.

This is really driving me nuts...it seems a rather trivial thing, guess I am a trivial person.

Thanks
Kevin

2006 - both with low mileage, the warranty on the 2006 will last a year longer.

Depends on the "in-service" date, doesn't it?

True....the way the deal is set up, the 2005 actually ends up with one year of service beyond the 2006.

Go for the 05 then...really aren't any differences between 05 and 06.

i would say 06, since later on if ur selling it you might get a better price, and plus do both have bi-xenon? also 06 might have less issues, since 05 is the first year of the C55 there might still have some bugs and 06 might have them fixed already...my.02

then all things being equal, I'd go with the 2005 then.

Second that. I'd go with the 2005, fewer miles, longer warranty. No problems with the 2005 except the heated driver's seat. Other than that, the car is bullet proof.

I have a C55 2005 and love it. problems i've had are some headlight issues, stinky A/C, (It can Smell) and thats really it. I do believe these cars come with lifetime road side assistance. I could be wrong though. You will have a blast with whatever one you go with.

Depends on color...but I prefer the year that warranty lasts longer and less miles so maybe the 05 but 06 will possibly yield you a better return at the end due to year it was made...

If you do not mind me asking – what color, options and price?

so will 2005's. MP3 playback ability is dependant on the CD-Changer version, not the year of the car.

2005 because when you go to sell it it'll be newer.
