just got back from a 900 mile roadtrip with the code 3 pullley and...
I am not sure how thick or what your guys' inter-cooler looks like but on Ford Lightning they are 5" deep and the intake temps only dropped something like 10 degrees if I recall correctly. Horsepower did not even match the shot size past 50-75hp(lower) but torque was still up there.

Looks to be just sat in there for a picture.
