2015 BMW M3 White/Black
Well... the issue is, does the C63 really have *only* 451 hp, or is that a b.s. rating to keep the MB heirarchy in line? Since it's the exact same engine as the 505 hp 6.2 V8 found elsewhere, it's reasonable to assume 560 hp (that'd be about 465 rwhp) from ECU, airbox, and headers.
If you follow the CLK63BS sub-forum, you'll see jrcart's car, which evosport has tuned up over 500 rwhp with just ECU, slight intake mods, and long-tube headers - since it's the exact same engine, the same *should be* possible with the C63... time will tell

No offense to the C32 owners but the C32 and C63 are worlds apart in every aspect. I think it is really an apples to oranges comparison. Personally, I had zero interest in the C32 when it came out, but yet here I am buying a C63. I think you will find that to be a similar case with other C63 drivers. There are alot who are defecting from other brands (BMW, Porsche, Etc.)
Personally, I am really not a huge Mercedes fan (across the board), but I did enjoy my 1992 -- 500E I owned from '92-'99.
Key is for each person to like their own cars for what they offer as a total package, not because one is slightly faster than another.

C63 is already underrated from factory. All 63 AMG's make close to 500hp, there really isn't a huge difference between a 500hp E63 and a "450hp" C63 in terms of power output. They say its less powerful because its an entry level AMG and shouldn't be as fast as higher-end AMG's. In reality, C63 was actually faster in the 1/4 mile in most tests.

Two huge holes in your argument....the best C32 runs are on drag radials and run by people on good tracks. If an E63 can run 11's bone stock....the C63 can run 11's bone stock. The C63 will run well into the 11's with drag radials. Before you declare victory (or an enthusiastic tie)...why don't you wait for the car to be delivered and actually run at a track ...not some magazine. Otherwise, it is apples to oranges....

OK, try getting a loaded one for 61K..................................Demand is a whole other issue. Show ME your contract for 61 K!!
Ever drive one!! car is a slug in my opinion. Once again, great trans, BUT engine, particularly from the dig, leaves a LOT to be desired. Would I buy one? NO!!! The almighty C63 is the current HOT car in that class (and you can get one of those for about 60K). This is without the dealer mark-up that we are seeing!! Note that I said "about" , so with TTL you're at $67,000.
Closer to $70 than $ 61!!!

all so people are able to buy c63's so easily is because a large number of people are waiting for the 09's to come out and order those.
