JUST INSTALLED!!
GREAT PRODUCT...
wasn't that hard to install, i was going to do a DIY- but it took me a little longer that it probably would take most of you MB drivers, b/c im color blind

so i'd say from a scale of 1 to 5 it was a 2.

I've just got a set as well, searched the forum many times but couldn't really find a thead with pictures.

they came packages in a very secure cardboard tube, bubble wrapped and with some freebies.
but the only write up i found on how a S class guy wired his to the puddle lights... which isn't a bad idea... other than the fact if you're bulb goes out... so will your sills and more often then none you would think the sill went bad.
so what i did... was pulled out my MultiMeter and found a constant 12volt source (meaning something that has 12volts even when the key is off) once i found that... there are a TON of wires that are brown or whatever ever color with strips on them... (this is where it got hard for me) but on the doors there is a plunger that sends a signal to the car's sensors and says the doors open do this....... with that plunger there is a brown wire and a brown wire with a white strip on it... you wanna splice the brown and white wire.
this would be much easier if i take some pictures so you can get a good visual of what im trying to describe
The rating the OP gave (2 out of 5 stars) is spot on. It's a metal plate cover, so you just tape these on the black plastic door sills. It looks a little tacky during the day, since there's an 1/8" gap due to the 3M tape. But in the evening/night the glowing blue lights look excellent. I'll try to take some hi-res pics tonight.
all 4 are installed... the others pictures i took came out blurry so i was just like screw it... i'll take some better pictures later.

the 3M tape isn't that bad... but i did do as Gerald Jones ( who was in contact with me pretty much from the time i made my purchase... pretty good guy ) said to use a semi permanent adhesive. which i did... but i also bought extra 3M exterior trim tape as well... any silicone based adhesive works just as long as you scuff up the metal/ bottom of the sill to give it something to grip. the plastic just needs to be cleaned with some rubbing alcohol a few times to get any polishes, waxes and dirty off the surface.
HERE ARE SAME GOOD DAY SHOTS:

Note: you do need to retain you OEM sills
and I have been thinking on this since I had my former IS350 but just to pricey for my taste at the time and formymercedes.com has them the cheapest even compared to Ebay. The only thing is I hope formymercedes doesn't raise the price. Let us know of the quality in a few months cause I should be ready to buy then..
Seriously, they do look great!!

Like i've said before he's class act.
