I believe its 178mm, but not 100% sure.
Anyone know where to buy a map sensor clamp that suit's the C32? Seems I am going to need one as the voltage can't be modified in the ECU to keep the CEL coming on.
BTW where is the map sensor on the C32's, any pics would be great.

Last night I re-installed the Code3 SC pulley and removed the Code3 intake (as it should lower the boost).
Went for a drive and CEL light comes on again and car still splutters and doesn't feel as fast without Code3 SC pulley. Feels the car is running lean, so not going to risk it anymore until ECU tune is done. I'm not sure if the belt is slipping either, I think a larger idler pulley might be required.
So I've removed the Code3 SC pulley and reset the ECU. I also went to re-install the intake and would you believe it, broke the plastic clip on the intake (that holds it to the throttle body). Was not impressed with myself. Luckily I had the SL55 intake which I added, whilst I try to mend the broken clip.
So will definitely need a ECU tune with this set-up. Got that on the go with LET (Jerry).
Also will need to clamp the map sensor to keep the CEL coming on, anyone with ideas on how to do this?

Forgot to add, I was thinking if this spluttering could be related to another problem, heat related. What if the intake temp is getting too high with the higher boost. I think my intercooler pump has been playing up lately too and I can't hear it after the car is switched off under the bumper. I'll try to test it.
I've ordered bigger intercooler pump and HE so I will do that upgrade as some stage to see if also helps.

Laza,
Are you sure you were getting the air temp sensor code and not a p0108 MAP sensor circuit high input? This is the code you should get on "overboost". That's what I kept getting along with 4 or 5 mis-fire codes (I'm running 178mm +code3). I took the code3 off and the problem remained!!! According to the MAP I was still making too much pressure. It turns out I had a major exhaust restriction...my cats caved into themselves internally blocking flow above 4500 Rpm. I gutted them and now the car is strong as hell!
I would start by gapping your plugs down to .030-.032 and if that still doesn't help, check your cats (remove and look inside).
BTW, I still get the p0108 code since I am consistently boosting 22 psi, but there is no longer any mis-fire or related codes, and no performance issues. I have installed a MAP clamp from one of the Neon SRT performance sites (our MAP works on the standard 0-5V scale), but have it bypassed for now. It will probably need to be retuned if I try hiding any boost from the ECU.

So peak boost is 22 PSI with this combo correct? Is that still within the safe operating rpm range for our charger? Does the p0108 Code limit performance? Are you using the factory idler pulley or the ASP?
Thanks

Eleventeen, when I had the ECU read for codes, there were 7 in total. I left them at work, I'll check and post tomorrow. I do recall misfire/s, map sensor and a charge rise temp code.
When I remove the Code3 SC pulley, car runs great so I don't think its the cats. Thanks for the advice though.
Argh, the spark plugs (all 12), I remember when I changed them it tooks hours and a few scrapped knuckles. Not over-joyed by the thought of taking them out for a re-gap but may have to if it really makes a difference.

If you get the P0108 code due to over boosting alone (no other issues), it does not seem to limit performance at all. I think Jerry told me that you have to hit 22psi 4 or 5 times before the CEL appears; that seems to be the case. I swear the CEL even went away after a few drive cycles of easy driving; I don't remember clearing the code myself the last time it appeared.
As far as pulleys, I actually incorporated a custom set up in which I use BOTH the smaller ASP idler and the the factory 90mm ilder. The ribbed idler pulley that is currently on the supercharger, has been moved above the alternator (there is a hole there) and the smooth idler is now on the supercharger with the belt running UNDER it and around the Code3. As soon as I'm done testing a few configurations, I will post up. One configuration I tried actually got me about 70% belt wrap with the factory belt, but the belt started to come apart; it had a lot of miles and I think there was a little too much tension since the tensioner barely had any play in it. I will be picking up my Gatorback today, which is about 1/2" longer than stock; should work great. I already tried the next size up Gatorback (about 1.5" longer than stock) and it seems to be a little loose. It slips a bit and the tensioner still has a lot of play. Like I said, I'm still experimenting.

you run at atco? im about 15 min from you. theres a bunch of amgs in my neighborhood.......
Yes, I'm seeing about 22psi in 3rd (haven't had it up to full pressure in 4th or 5th yet). I think this is similar pressure when compared to the 185mm, and no supercharger failures that I've heard of.

Regading the ECU codes, these are the ones I had;
P2007 - charge air pressure sensor
P208C - supercharger electric fault clutch (i think this was when I unplugged the super charger for a test)
P2050/51/55 - Misfiring
P2027 - Charge air temp sensor rise
No P1080 code??? I'm baffled. I've got a feeling my intercooler pump is dead.

No heat exchanger yet. The temperatures here in the bay area, especially where I am are very mild. we've had a few days here in the 80's, but that's pretty rare.
That plus I'm not "ON" it WOT all the time, esp. with today's gas prices. I like a little burst now and then for fun. One of my future mods will probably be a heat exchanger though.

My experience with Code3
Brandon just finished installing both the supercharger pulley and intake in my car and I am very pleased. Customer service was amazing, Brandon personally installed everything, AND he drove an hour to my house to do it! Feels like a different car... all smiles here. Thank you Brandon!

The code3 SC pulley and intake mod made a lot of difference. Money well spent and I'm looking forward in the LET ECU mod.

hey trbo2nr, what was your 0-60 time after only the pulley and intake? My stock c32 needs upgrades, so I was just wondering about the performance with the sc pulley and intake.

I don't have a clue on this. I just got the ECU back from LET a few days ago and need to still punch it. Traffic and all has kept me from getting on it but I hope to go in early tomorrow and see. I bet someone else has done this....but there WILL be a greater difference once the ECU is matched up to the mods.
