I finally had a chance to snap some pictures of the new car today. The dealer called to say they were done, so I picked it up this morning and snapped some pictures, then snapped some more this afternoon.

Nice ride.
Did you remove the C32 badge or did it come that way from the previous owner?

It came that way. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but it's grown on me.Originally Posted by cdd

I'm looking into it, but after all the mods I put on the last car, the wife will kill me if I get too carried away.Originally Posted by trbo2nr

its best when she doesnt know that you have em until after they're installed... too late to pull them off now!

I tried that method. As comfortable as our couch is, it sucks to sleep on. Originally Posted by cannonball55

I hear you! I'm in the same boat but I think she's now use to it after 20 years Originally Posted by RedBull

Not a bad idea. The first thing she said to me after I brought it home was "you better not be buying parts for this to make it faster!" Originally Posted by cannonball55

I'm upgrading the tires tomorrow, but I explained to her that this was for "safety" reasons. Originally Posted by trbo2nr

Thanks. It was listed as "beige" but I don't know what the actual name for this color is. I've already been asked a few times what color it is and I just say that it must be a champaign color.Originally Posted by AirFrcd

Thanks. It is very clean, and hopefully I can keep it that way. I've got a neighbor who is out washing him MB several times a week, and I've already been asked by other neighbors if this means I'm going to be the same way now. lolOriginally Posted by johnand

it's called desert silver metallic and it's rare on a AMG. there's a dude here who has one slammed to the ground with black rims and black grille and it looks sick! I belive he is based out of Orlando.Originally Posted by RedBull

Congrats on the ride!
One thing I did notice tonight is that when I turn on the parking lights, only the right side lights up. I'll have to look into it and see what the cause of that might be. Headlights, brake lights, and turn signals all work fine otherwise. Probably just a case of interesting German electronics.

Yup, you’ll soon come to appreciate MB’s engineering wherewithal in that regard. Originally Posted by RedBull
