***Code3 Performance Spearco Intercooler Upgrade***
The last few months I have been working very hard on new products behind the scenes for the C32/SRT-6 that have never been offered before. In the next few weeks, these products will emerge as we are right around the corner from production. The first of these new products I offer to you is a big one. I would like to introduce to you, the Code3 Performance Spearco Intercooler Upgrade.
Let me first explain what piece we are talking about specifically. I am not referring to the heat exchanger located in the bumper (of which our new Spearco based heat exchangers will be available shortly). I am speaking of the actual intercooler that is located underneath of the supercharger. Here is a diagram of the piece I am referring to.
Our new unit is built from the ground up. It is a complete bolt on affair. The new unit utilizes a Spearco liquid-air core, and it is pressure tested up to 50psi. We also designed it with narrower end tanks, so that we could add another 1" to the width on the liquid side. Not only does the new unit offer increased cooling and flow on the liquid side, but less pressure drop on the air side, resulting in more power. I will publish that data next week when I am back from vacation. There will be some subtle changes in the production piece versus the pictures below, but otherwise, what you see is about 95% production quality. There will also be a complete step by step illustrated instructions for supercharger removal. It really is easier than most think.
As many of you know, this is a major piece of the puzzle. I will be honest, this might be the piece that gets our project car past 400/400 (you heard that right). We are almost there without it. We have kept the wraps on our project car as we develop new products. But don't worry, we are close to bringing that car out of the shadows. Last trip to the dyno we were 17hp/tq shy...But I will save that for another thread On to the pictures.

Looks very nice and interesting!
How much will the IAT's go down? Does this mod make another water reservoir dispensable, or do you recommend the Intercooler Upgrade with another reservoir? I already have an upgraded HE.
Thanks.

Brandon, nice work.
I went this route with new housing and Laminova cores and and only found 10RWHP.
I would suggest doing IC SLR style.

Come to Chicago for the Aug 30th run, perhaps that Floriduh car will generate some HP up here without the mosquitoes getting clogged in the RX's intake

Wow, this is awesome! You guys are really breaking some new ground w/ awesome hardware to unlock all of the potential of the m112ks. makes me super jealous that I dont got that lil supercharger ontop of my engine :x
Lately the m112k has had an intake system, phlenoms, phlenom spacers, and now a bigger intercooler combined w/ bigger HEs and pumps. Goodness - you guys are in for alotta power w/ those pullies too!

MBWorld Fanatic!
This IS the key of the puzzle. I am very very impressed with the spearco intercooler Brandon. This is by far the weakest link of the cooling system.
Put me down for one after you post some data and final results.
Are you planning in internally coat them? The stock ones tend to leak, remember that.
