Motorola V60 phone w/Voice Control, worth it?
Well folks, I need yours opinion.
I am tempted to install the Motorola V60 phone w/Voice Control, is really worth it? Plus, the dealer is charging me $450 for the installation, is this right? Or outrageous? please, I need your help guys. I would love to have everything integrate with the Comand, but I am not decided yet.

If you use your phone a lot, it is well worth it. $450 is steep. I installed my own V60 VR system in my 2001 CL55 and it took about 30 mins. start to finish. I needed the dealer to program the system via the DAS laptop to recognize the additional of the phone/VR, however, they only charged me $30 for the programming.

Thank you very much for the feedback guys, this forum is awesome!!
Well, awiner is it difficult to install? or is it really strait forward? does the kit came with Instructions? If you may give more information, I would really appreciate, because the dealer labor was the constraint in my final decision. Also, where can I buy it?
99DINAN3, further there are some states, and countries that you can not drive and talk at the same time.

You can buy the parts a several Mercedes wholesale outfits. PM or email me for details. Many of which will provide the instructions straight from the Mercedes tech book.
The install was pretty straight forward. The only confusing part is the reconfig of the fiber loop as you need to understand how it works. Once explained it is a no brainer. The dealer still will need to version code the system using the DAS laptop in order to get the phone to integrate with COMAND and the center instrument cluster screen.
