Good to see you back on the forums Brett, After I bought your Renntech pulley you seemed to have disappeared. Sounds like your new set-up is putting down some nice numbers. Have you been to the track with the new set-up?

hey whats going on? hope the renntech pulley is still working out for you. Aug. 30 is our next track day so we will have to see what it can do. we might have a few more tricks up our sleeves we will just have to wait and see.

Its still working great! I added a Jerry tune a while back and the car feels stronger than ever! I hope you guys can take some video of your track day. I will be shooting for 12's next year at this elevation(4400) which is usually what a E55(w211) runs. Good luck at the track and keep us posted

Were the dyno runs done on 93 octane? My other question would be if anyone has tried using 100 octane with the "Jerry Tune" and if so, were any gains/losses seen.

Agreed w/ others... amazing results
Three questions/comments:
Jerry, you mention that just adding the LET intake and a revised/updated ECU tune might yield an additional 40 whp on this particular C32? I hope to see it, but wow... that would be huge.
Second - the LET 185 pulley and tune obviously are making huge power over and above Renntech 178 pulley and tune, everywhere. One observation though... the Renntech lines are glass-smooth, while the current hp and torque curves look "wavy" (for lack of a better description) - what might be the cause of this?
Third - I wasn't aware that running as rich an A/F as 11.4-8:1 was actually beneficial to making more power; I thought I'd heard 12-12.5:1 was right where you'd want to be. Is there any downside to running that rich, other than slightly worse fuel economy? Longevity of exhaust valves, cats, etc. perhaps? If no downside, how rich can the A/F go before there isn't any performance benefit? 11:1? 10.5:1?
Again, very exciting results... looking forward to the results from post-intake dyno runs!

I'll be interested in seeing if it makes any difference. Would be great if it does because there's a gas station just over in Downer's Grove that sells 100 octane.

Resurrected!
Jerry, you around? I'm confused. The numbers above are the same numbers you said to expect with the 185, tune, headers, and intake. My tune was even factored in for 93 oct which was supposed to be good for a few more ponies.
Once I find a dyno that will of course be the tell all, but I'm curious why I should expect the same number as you posted with the 185 and tune alone. And yes, I understand the tune above was much more "custom" but....
