Question "Clear Lights" Retrofitable?

We are trading our M3 in for a 2003 C32, basically a stripper.. Already adding our Aftermarket Kenwood system into it, but had a question about changing the front "frosted" style lights to the clear ones..

Is this possible, if so, how much?

Honestly, I don't care about the Xenons, etc, just how it looks.

Our car (black) has the lights on the right C32.. I would like to change to the ones of the estate to the left.

Not my picture, took it from the C32 Thread.

Thanks.

The lights pictured on the left are the bi-xenons, which are the new xenon for any 03 Mercedes. In order to install these, you would need to change the entire headlight assemblies, and then have the dealer use their DAS computer to set the lights to "Xenon Present." We carry the headlights, feel free to email me for pricing.

Thanks,
Ben

Will most dealers do this? Or is there some MBUSA stipulation that won't allow them?

I PM'ed you about the pricing.

Most dealers won't do anything besides S&S (Sell and Service). Did you get my reply?

Didn't get a reply, yet. Boards are strange right now..

My dad was telling me about some guy from the C32Life boards, he's overseas, and sells the European kit, for 950.

He said he can send this, then have a body shop install it, and a dealer in Greenwich CT make it work.

This sound right?

Those are flawed headlights, either sold to him at a discount or discarded. From what I've read, they may come with scratches and/or lights that won't allign properly. Some members of the C Class forum have them, no need to go to C32life to find out.

Supposedly, this Euro light looks great, or something..

A Mercedes Dealer in Greenwich told us 1900 for the kit, and they will set the computer.. Have to have bodyshop install it though.

Eurolight? The dealer in CT can only get bi-xenons. If you are handy around cars, you can install them yourself. Instructions have been posted online before. Otherwise, I would recommend having a body shop install them, as they will probably be more careful than the dealer (or at least be able to fix their work easily).

What do they mean by these minor blemishes from this Netherlands guy?

Should I stay away from it.

Thanks Mach430, nice whip, btw.

I haven't seen them firsthand. They may be so minor, that no one cares. As a business, we can't sell product like that. Search the C Class forum, there were posts a few months ago about them.

Good concept, no flaw parts sold no matter how cheap they're.
The price is about right ~$1900.
A friend advice me to wait till the OEM parts release, price is then
going down....how I hate the wait
