yea i figured i would be nice and send the guy a message telling him that it wasnt a c32. im sure he already knows though and is just trying to get more money out of it selling it to someone who has no idea

that might be a c240 or c320 both are v6.

 

Something tells me it's not a C32 based on its engine, exhaust tips, shifter, rear apron and side skirts. But maybe the seller doesn't know any better either.

In Europe the C32 was introduced as a 2001 model.

Kripes! There is not even the AMG ring on the instrument cluster!

Notice the corrosion on the engine components and the hood (where the paint came off). It has been sitting in this lot for many months already.

This is one serious C320 pig!

 

Not only that BUT lookie at the Vin#, 10th digit is always the model year, In this case its an 1, so its an 01 for sure. Hey, maybe its a pre-production C32?? I'd say a 01 C230

 

Gearshift knob is all wrong too. Looks like Victors Silver car?? HMMM, I am seeing a link here

Yeah, definitely trying to pull a fast one over on some unsuspecting consumer, who thinks they're getting a C32 AMG fixer-up for a steal... caveat emptor.

Incidentally, Lebanon PA is only about 1-1.5 hours away - part of me wants to call Kevin and set up an appointment, only to show up in a real C32 so I can point out the differences
