C32 coolant

Hi. I'm going to attempt to replace my coolant and I've been doing some research as well as reading the manual and still have a few questions.
1.) What is the total coolant capacity of m112k? I'm assuming it is around 15 Litres since the manual recommends 7.5-8 Litres of coolant added for optimal performance (50/50 coolant to water ratio). So my question is to go half and half I should put in roughly 7.5L of coolant and 7.5 of water?
2.) Distilled water is best for the water type correct? I read something about adding water wetter but MRAMG said it was useless in daily driven cars, however I push my car a lot what is the optimal ratio of coolant to water for highest reduction of boiling level, and what does this water wetter do exactly?
3.) How do I get rid of the current coolant?

Thanks a lot!

There's quite a bit of debate on this topic. I'd say stick to the following:

50/50 mix of genuine MB coolant and distilled water You could probably go to 40/60 or 30/70, but the gains really are negligible.

Radiator drain plug is a red knob under the radiator - search for splinter's DIY for changing the heat exchanger, I believe he illustrates it.

Great, thank you!
Last question: What is the total coolant capacity of m112k? In gallons or Litres is fine.

That's a very nice 1/4 btw. Did you do it stock?

it's about 2 gal once it's gurgled. While I'm filling, I squeeze the top rad hose, put my hand over the reservoir opening and release the hose. You will hear the air moving around and allowing for more coolant. Keep the remaining part of your water with you in the car, the coolant level might drop a little after driving around and trigger the warning light. Do not worry though, it's just gurgling out the rest of the air.

Thanks Calimax! I've been told the same by my SA and a tech.

But I thought they were wrong and according to "C-Class Operator's Manual" printed in 05/18/2001. I'm looking at page 386 right side. It reads:

"Anticorrosion/ antifreeze quantity
-35 F -49F
...
C32 AMG only:
7.7 US qt 8.5 US qt
(7.3 l) (8.0 l)"

Judging by "Anticorrosion/ antifreeze quantity" the author is being literal and is refering to ONLY antifreeze, and no water added yet. I was thrown off and thought the guy literally meant antifreeze, but it is the total... meh I bought an extra gallon of this crap.
