They are H&R lowering springs. I am not worrying about the shocks going out because I don't track the car. Even if it does, it'll last me long time before I need to replace them.

My stock shocks are still fine after about four months with the lowering springs.

Does any good manufacturer, i.e. koni, bilstein, etc. make a replacement shocks/struts for the C32 yet? Hopefully in the sport version?

The only ones I've seen (other than on H&R's coilovers) would be the Kleemann shocks.

Ben,

Is there a difference between the C32 and the C320 H&R cup kit? cuz tire rack sells them for the 320 at $609, but doesnt have anything listed for the C32..

Re: Lowering Rear for $3

Before you spend hundreds on special springs to lower the car, see what $3 of sand will do. I always felt the ride height of the rear was much higher than the front, compared with the S class. If you have ever loaded heavy luggage in the trunk, you have noticed that there is a good 1/2 to 1 inch that the rear can be lowered to make it look level with the front. Of course, you could just carry the luggage around all the time. But a cheap alternative is to buy 50 lbs of sand. In order to disperse the sand to make for trunk space, buy a bunch of zip lock quart bags. Fill each of them with this sand. Then load the bags in all the available space in the spare tire area. Each bag is flexible so as to fit as needed. You can add as few or many as you wish, but I found that 50 lbs is just right to level out the rear ride height with the front.
That is a great idea.........if it is snowing badly and you don't have another car. Why buy coilovers or sway bars when you can help reduce understeer with sand in the trunk of your $50,000+ car.

Ah i forgot about capri. Where in Portland do you get mods done? is it that place, plus1motorsports? Funny but when i lived there there were no places that really specialized in car mods. I think there was this indonesian student that used to lower cars for all his friends, they all ordered from Dazz and then had this guy install springs, rims, lights, etc.
