But the biggest problem is that cone filters are usually located where they get air that that has been heated by the radiator. You lose a fair amount of power sucking in warm air.

what did you tap into for the wot switch?
i trust a lot of what's been said here as people said the've experimented/tested, but what effect does running through the blower have on the fuel that is dumped in with the nitrous? is that why it was recomended to run one size larger for the fuel "nozzle"

The extra fuel will help with detonation. The larger fuel nozzle was exactly for that!

I tapped the pedel for the wot that goes inline with the foot switch then goes to the ZEX management unit. This was done to have another safety as in order for the system to work, it has to be armed and both pedel to the floor as well as dead pedel switch has to be done.

Master switch arms the system.
Both the dead pedal switch has to be down as well as 5v (pedal floored) for the system to spray. It is a constant spray until I let off

and no concerns in your mind with activating/deactivating it that way? Any pics of how you mounted the wot switch?
which zex kit are you running part number wise- i think i know but want to be sure.
what do you guys think about dumping it in at tb for my application (my eaton is a long way from the upper intake...)

This is pretty much the safest way I can ever think to run nos. Both the pedals (dead and gas) have to be floored at the same time, plus the system has to be armed to run. If all 3 are not that way no dice.

Basically to make it easy here you go.
The zex unit goes through the momentary switch on the dead pedal to the tps wire on the gas pedal. When the gas pedal is down it will broadcast 5v from the tps wire, and that will travel to the dead pedal switch. When the dead pedal momentary switch is down, it will send that signal to the zex unit to run.
make sense?

yeah, it makes perfect sense to me. I've only run nitrous on one car in the past and i had a tach window switch on it- i'm trying to make sure/think through the way you are running it so far as my impression of the safety vs. a window switch.
Doesn't the kit you used come with a window type switch that works off a TPS signal?
My car is honestly mostly just a show car, but i'd really like to get to 500hp+ at the motor and get my acceleration up a bit more such that the latest run of high performance cars (C63, M3, IS-F etc. are easily beat) and this seems like the most cost effective solution from this point AND it gives me another cool show piece for my trunk, which i'm already redoing right now stereo wise.
