Well, race day has come and gone again....heres the story...

We were wrenching and dyno'n/tuning till 3am (thanks jerry and Fluid Motor Union) All seemed to be going good...

We got offically rolling out to the track around 8....

The bad- Blew a tire on the way badly, and f-ed up a rim. Thank god the rest of the crew was in tow and the gents from Fluid Motor jumped to the rescue getting the car ready to go. DOH....brought the wrong lugs....wont fit the drags

Thankfully, Bryan was there with the group and his Srt6 and put his drags on and gave me his factory lugs. I OWE YOU HUGH MAN...
A quick stop to the nearest MB dealer and new lugs were purchased...

So, jump on the track, and manage a pitiful 12.5, 12.6 and cant make any sense of it. Car feels weaker under high boost. Grab the dash dyno and check car under load...doh...lower boost then normal...

The very bad....started taking things apart....wouldn't you know it...blown supercharger intercooler shooting coolent all over the darn place. Sux, but what you gonna do....Good thing we have an extra engine laying around back at Fluid.

So, we put it back together, and say screw it. Let the car cool for an hour or so and go at it.

PULLED A 12.33!!!!!! with a blown sc intercooler and less boost then normal!!

60'- 1.937
1/8et - 8.0309
1/8mph - 90.31
1/4mph - 115.08

I guess the 11's will have to wait till the next track day, but at least it gives me something to shoot for.....

Btw- Cry02 rocks for cooling but doesn't last long...what u gonna do...

and thanks for the time spent with Brandon at Code3. I appreciate the talks and you know I was just giving you a hard time.

I hate leaving the track with a case of the "What ifs" I'm sure you will get the car working at 100% and pull of one of best C32 1/4 runs ever.

Nice time regardless of all the issues I know you're using the cryo, but did you spray any NO2? Or was this on gasoline only?

That's a great time even though you had those coolant problems. Was that with NO2?

Thanks guys...that was with a 50 shot of NOS.

When the car is running well I should be able to pick up a tenth or two easily from the missing boost. I ran 12.4 with all motor, so the Nos was just able to pick up the slack from the blown sc intercooler.

While you guys were dilly dallying around, George and I were busy racing when the DAs were good, the traction was decent and the track was clean. Next time, lets not wait until almost 12:00 to start racing huh???
