Diagnosing a problem

Hi.
I need some help diagnosing what is wrong with my car.
Here is the background story:
Ran a guy in Mexico back in July, car pulled good first two runs, then got slower, until the SC shut down and the CEL came on.
dealership replaced the gas-pedal sensor, then a downpipe. Turned out the second downpipe needed to be replaced as well, so I deleted the secondary and replaced the primary cats with high flow ones.
Before replacing the cats, car ran 14.1, 14.2, 14.3 1/4 mile runs, all same day in that order.
After removing the secondary and replacing the primary cats with magnaflow, times dropped to 13.9 (got this number three times in a row).

Before breaking, the car was running 13.4's with LET tune, HE, pump and SL55 full intake. Car has all of those mods right now.

I realize I'm trying to find a black cat in a black room, but I won't rest until I fix the car back to the way it was.
So please help me figure out what the problem is:
Here are a few thoughts I have:
1.)Something could be in the headers
2.)Something wrong with in the combustion chamber
3.)bad intercooler (I replaced my leaking one with a used one).

Go ahead and post any ideas you might have.

I keep getting random CEL that has a code for the pedal sensor. It comes on when after the car feels weak, then when I restart it, it goes away.

Here is what I'm planning to do: Have ECU reset first thing. Anyone can chime on who can do it? I can't send it to Jerry, because I need my car everyday (you can't drive it without the ECU right?), so I was thinking if I go to MB or some tunner shop if they can return it to stock form?

Thank you for reading!

-Rami

ecu reset can be done by you... use the search button that and theres a thread about how to do it ( it involves holding down the gas peddle for a set amount of time then doing somehting else .... im not entirely sure).

As far as your issues go you deffinetly need to give us at least some diagnosis of how the car is behaving.... does it do anything abnormal? are there any painfully obvious issues? should have i bought domestic? theres are all things you should ask your self

... jk about the buying domestic lololololol

ryan,

he wants to flash his ecu back to the stock configurations because it is tuned. the pedal thing is for resetting drivability options such as when the car shifts and the throttle response.

i dont know if mb can flash it back to stock for you. if you still have a warranty, that would be risky IMHO

the gas pedal reset is for TCU, not ECU. It resets our transmissions so that they can readapt to your shifting style. I do this before doing 1/4 and going into Mexico

See the thing is that the car drives well and besides the rare CEL for the gas pedal sensor it feels perfect, yet it is .5 slower 1/4 than what it is supposed to be.

And speaking of domestic... I would never do it unless it is made by GM and has a designation of C6
