***Code Three Performance C32/SRT6 Spearco Intercooler Group Buy***
#155
C32/SRT6 Spearco Intercooler
This is the actual intercooler that is located underneath of the supercharger, not the heat exchanger in the bumper. There is a diagram showing the IC below.
Our new IC is built from the ground up. It is a complete bolt on affair. The new IC utilizes a Spearco liquid-air core, and it is pressure tested up to 50psi. We also designed it with narrower end tanks, so that we could add another 1" to the width on the liquid side. Not only does the new unit offer increased cooling and flow on the liquid side, but less pressure drop on the air side, resulting in more power. There will be some subtle changes in the production piece versus the pictures below, but otherwise, what you see is about 95% production. The one nice change not pictured is that the flange will not require a gasket. We are machining the flange with an o-ring for a perfect, no leak, seal.
This is a big piece of the cooling puzzle. Most people upgrade there IC pump with a higher flowing Johnson pump when the OEM piece fails. Unfortunately, the stock IC can not handle the increased flow from the CM30, and thus backs up the inlet side of the IC, causing increased pressure and slower recovery cooling. Our new IC eliminates this bottleneck.
At this time the units will be sold in minimums of five or more. This current group buy will end on 10/23. The ICs will be ready to ship by 10/31. Retail price is $1299. The units will be on sale for $999 as an introduction price.

It was takin with my cell, the GF has my cannon.
both fittings for the water lines are welded "off" of the holes in the end tanks.
How is that going to help cool down anything...

CODE3, I want my IC the way it looks like in the Pictures on your Homepage.
This is PRODUCTION QUALITY. Otherwise I will send it back! Although I'm nearly waiting 6 Weeks now I would rather wait a few weeks more if the Intercooler is well build then. I dont want to pay 999$ for a IC which is not better than the stock one.My old one is not bad. Sorry for my hard words but I dont get any response for a long time to my PM.
Please give us details whats going on...

Also note, the original post said that production version would use an "o-ring" and wouldnt need a gasket.
Well the production version was not machined for an o ring among other things.
Needless to say Im pretty dissapointed.

No clue, was the first thing I noticed when I unwrapped it. It was packaged very well, however both fittings are welded off.

Unfortuantely I have already started that route. If I don't hear anything from the code-.025 boys by monday, I am going to request a refund and get the car back up and running.
Having issues with delivery and vendors is one thing, but ignoring emails/pm/calls etc is another.
