After about 35K miles, my CM30 developed a leak. My tech noticed it while swaping the bumper. Had the Meziere pump now for about 10K miles without any issues so far. I noticed that my delta between ambient and IAT temps is about
5* better now than when I had the CM30 pump.

Quote: well, i'm still on the same CM30 pump that I replaced the original with. it must have been at least 40-50k miles now, but I can't be sure. all that fiasco in this thread was caused by idiot tech from the dealership destroying the pins in my tcu connector when they plugged it back in.
Thanks Frank!

I guess the dealer isn't always better. Damn.

Sucks that a damaged TCU/EGS connector was responsible for your woes.
It’s been a while since posting in this thread.

Some updates regarding marginal intercooler fluid pumps...
Damned if both the Bosch and Johnson aren’t prone to intermittent failures.

Though pretty good about regular data logging, they can die outright at the most inopportune times. Doesn’t take supercharger disengagement for a weak pump to negatively affect performance.
Imagine my angst when cruising at ~80 up the Grapevine (after a 105° track day at Buttonwillow) in caravan with nlpamg’s M5 and MJ50’s E55 only to have yet another CM30 bite the dust!

For such a seemingly simple piece of hardware, it’s odd mine has been through four pumps (two Bosch and two Johnson) during its ~100,000 miles.
Seems replacing ‘em is another task on the DIY Service B checklist.

Would it be correct to surmise you’ve experienced quicker IAT recovery after WOT blasts with your Meziere setup?

Recovery is harder to notice but my logs tell me that it is so. It is easier for me to see temps on my DashDaq as I'm driving. It used to be around 30F-35F above ambient and now it is around 25F-30F. Same driving style (if you can call it a style).

If the first owner didn't experience this issue which i doubt he did then 42k miles. Not bad..

to make you feel better, my fuel pump finally went out, and i spent about $1300 at my dealer for parts and labor..which is not bad, because its $1300 fuel pump service which replaced the entire assembly, sending units & fuel filter...as well as got ATS type 6 service

original quote was $1720 for JUST the fuel pump job lol!! my service advisor is leegit!!!

Thanks for your reply. Tempted to fit a Meziere if for no other reason than reliability.

Mine consistently records ~25° Fahrenheit above ambient during steady-state highway cruising. It’ll climb to 170°+ when subjected to repeated 70-120 pulls during HPDE events.
Haven’t yet plumbed a dedicated fluid circuit, though I’m almost certain my LET/Eurocharged heat exchanger is contributing its fair share to the cause.

That, and I envy your solid 12-second performance.
