And yet another Projector question...

Sorry guys, I know this topic has been threaded to death, but I really love the look of the clear lenses.

Here's my dilemma, the OEM's are way outta my budget and I don't want to sacrifice lighting quality by going the Depo route as my research previouslyy led me to believe that buying depo housings with HID kits tend to have bad actual light projection although they look good.

So I've always just stayed with my OEM frosted Xenons.

But I saw these on eBay and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them. Not sure if what they claim is true, but they "Sound" good.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Those are the exact same ones I currently have installed. I am VERY pleased with them for the money. If you don't want to pay the premium of OEM, these are the way to go.
BTW, they are modified projectors in a depo housing but the output is better than the standard depos w/HID kit.

Great, thanks for the feedback. So I assume that installation was as they say, just plug and play?

Thanks again!

there just depos that come with a hid kit. I wouldn't go with 8000k though. Unless you like purple/blue light. I would stay been 4300k -6000k.

Your other option is just take some eagle eye or depo lights and retrofit in your own real hid projectors. I did them with some eagle eye head lights with tsx hid projectors.

I guess it just depends how good of a diy'er you are.

The link is on my sig if you want to check it out.

Hey TemjinX2,

Yeah, I've seen your TSX project from the beginning of the thread, but unfortunately, I am no where near as gifted as you when it comes to this kind of DIY. I love the sharp cutoff of the TSX and S2000 HIDS though.

BTW, your projects are really cool and thanks for sharing them.

That question was brought up before and I asked the guys and the dealership in more detail about the install. I guess the only thing that they needed was a different connector. It was either a male/female or female/male connector to make it truly plug and play. It was very straight forward and they were impressed with the setup as well.

Temjins mod is the closest thing to OEM you can get. The output of the modified depos isn't as nice as what he did but the ones in that auction still have a great output and look killer as far as im concerned. I did go with the 8k and am wishing I would have just stuck in the 6k range. i can see fine at night but as mentioned, it's VERY blue/purple looking. Looks cool as daytime running lights though.lol
If you're looking for cheap and easy, get those in 6k HID and you will be pleased.
