Track day in N. California
Hello all,
I just registered for a track day at Thunderhill on Feb 15th. This is an event they call "street school". I have gone 6 times with my Dodge Neon, this will be the 1st with the C32. I usually get 100 - 150 miles of laps in 5 20 minute sessions. C group (fast car+driver) gets to run alone. A & B have an SCCA licensed driver in the passenger seat & instuct (some better than others) on how to do it. It is really cool & save as they make you slow down for the only 2 tricky parts of the track & only allow passing on the 2 straights. I still got up to 110 MPH in a basically stock Neon. This reminds me, we are having another track lesson at Willow Springs on February 1st. The lesson is $499 for MBWorlders, and as always, includes unlimited driving with as much one-on-one instuction as you'd like. Gourmet breakfast and lunch are provided, as well as in class instruction. I'll post a flyer soon, but in the meantime, feel free to email me for details.
