Ready for the winter??? (with pics)
I just realized that my summer tires were not safe enough for fall/almost-winter-ish driving (not sure how did that happen 
) so I had to perform an emergency swap to winters. It was about time to do it anyways. Took some pictures after the swap. 
Anyone else with winters yet?

ya, that wouldnt have been good...expecially with our chicago winters...

I was mowing my lawn sunday and it started to snow on me..I was like WTF! But then again it's the Windy City and not unusual...I am still running the summer setup for maybe 2/3 more weeks or heavy snow comes our way.

It snowed about 1/2 in here in Bavaria on the 29th. Its ironic because that same day my snow tires came in the mail. Replacing this weekend. Be careful out there.

Just can't do it yet
I have been lurking and learning since I got the car a couple of months ago. Love the site. Learned a bunch and already put a bit of it to use ( oem brake replace, grill update, new plugs coming etc...)
I have snows but just can't do it yet. Out of principal I am trying to hang on till Thanksgiving. hehe... playing with fire I suppose but I figure worst case I can make the swap in 20 min if I have to...
I am glad to see so many Chicago area members. I have only seen one other c32 in my area.

Where are you?? There's a ton of C32s around here, I am north of Chicago so if you see a back one on 53 or 294 in stealth mode thats me!!!
As far as the snows, I put mine away for old man winter, so the ML 55 gets the snows!! I also wait till about December to put mine on since the roads are hard on the Blizzaks as far as wear when its not wet or snowy!! I usually take em off about mid- March. The Pole Positions on the C32 don't work real well in snowy conditions.

I agree, beautiful rims for your winter set up. I will have to put my snow tires on in about two weeks here in NY. When temperatures are consistently 40 degrees or below, no summer tire will work properly or safely.
