Wasn't me. Mine is silver, but I am in LN and AV almost all the time.

By the way, here is the original SoCal "spotted" thread. It would be nice to see that thread come back again.

I Also saw a stock c55 being driven by a white blond but this was on the 580/205 going towards livermore/tracy.

Mine is stock, with the exception of 18" CLK55 wheels.

I frequented MBLN until my warranty expired. Now I see a local Independent tech (near the Irvine Auto Center) and do maintanence myself.

You might hear me instead of seeing me. I drive too fast but have the resonator deleted. Woo hoo!

Not my cup of tea. I enjoy the subtle growl of the ResDel but that is where I will stand. After all, it is a Mercedes Benz, not a mustang.

Frank is too far away most the time to be spotted all the way in Laguna Niguel. Besides, there are still several black C32's running around South OC.

It's a new style of apartment buildings with a mall style parking. You park on the floor you live on.

This reminded me of a joke Jerry Seinfeld told about 25 years ago during his stand-up. It went something like this;

"So you're on the family trip, in the car. What is it you do whenever you see a cow along the side of the road? Come on, admit it, you all do this. You roll down the window and yell out, "Moooo". What is it we are expecting the cow to think? "Hey, there's a cow in that car....How can he afford that?""

I was just wondering how the car could afford the apartment.

Well, since this thread is now up and running in place of the SoCali Spotted thread, I might as well keep it alive.

Today, at about 7:30am, in Laguna Canyon (the 133), I tailed a 2002 Silver C32 with MB Laguna Niguel frames around a CA plate (# sequence makes the plate about 2.5 yrs old). Based on what I saw, I believe this was a C32 that I test drove at MBLN.

The driver was a guy about my age (Mid 40's?) with salt and pepper colored hair. I pulled up along side to get his attention but he would not look at me. Of course, I was coming form behind so he would not have known I was in a C32 also.

At lunch today, checked out another Silver C32 in a parking lot in Costa Mesa, off of Baker St. It has a "USC Marshall School of Business" license frame on it. Fight on!

It has been a good C32 day.

Another silver C32 in MDR, this time at mirabella apt's. This makes for three silver C32's within a square mile.

i don't think that's a C32. the door handle gave it away. C32/55 never had the chrome trim on the handle. plus the fender badge is sitting too high.

I think you are right, I noticed the fender badge sitting pretty high after I posted the pic...when I originally saw the car I thought it was Gramma_Benz...

I didn't look very closely at it...didn't check the brakes or vin
