Skunk Works on C55
Will be done in mid Feb. Goal is to break into the 9's. Will include Maybach bullet transmission. Stay tuned.

That is a reference to the top-secret Lockheed facility that used to be housed in Burbank then Palmdale, CA. That is were the unbelievable SR-71 was developed. Many of the world's coolest, fastest and covert aircraft came from the infamous Skunk Works hanger.

Could be. Having grown up next door to a real Skunk Works engineer, the name is synonymous with Lockheed. Companies, knowing what the Works were, would surely steal it for themselves.

Not sure who actually owns that hangar, but the SR-71 was a Lockheed aircraft.

Sooooo Are you putting a jet engine in your car? Has VRP and Kleemann gone above and beyond in customer service they are just giving you a jet engine to make it right? Skunk works sound like the smell of my pet Boxers butt.

I have corrected my errors.
I think I fall back on Boeing since they bought so much of the aerospace industry here in So. Cal.

Everything is fine with my car. If you don't believe me why don't you show up on Dec 4th at California Speedway and see it for yourself?
I will use that date as my final baseline before I turn it over to Vadim for the transformation.
