Power Red / Black Nappa leather ?

Thinking of going Power Red interior on my Graphite Grey Magno as the Black leather alone may be too dark overall with the car.

Does anyone have or has seen the Power Red and have any thoughts ?

Thanks.

I don't have the answer you're looking for, but here's some decent footage of what I think is the Power Red option. Go to the 5 minute mark.

Very nice look. I’d probably have gone black but this is fine by me as it brightens up the interior and the contrasting stitching is nice as well.

I saw the Power Red/Black Nappa Leather on a white CLE 53. I thought it looked classy and sporty at the same time. There isn’t too much red, only the seating surfaces and door trim. Some other brands offer red interiors that include red dash and steering wheel. I thought that was too much. I think AMG did it just right. I ended up ordering an Obsidian Black CLE 53 with the Power Red interior.

I really love red, but that is a lot of red! Personally, I prefer the black nappa with red inserts/stitching, but can certainly see the allure of the Power Red!

That is exactly my concern. I love the seats and would do just those in a heartbeat, but think the side inserts might be "a bit much " ?

This is my current S5 for comparison.

The Black Leather with Red Stitching looks great. However, it’s not Nappa Leather, if that matters. That option is $970 less expensive though.

I might have chosen to delete the red side inserts if that were possible.

You are correct, it's not nappa leather unfortunately. Wonder why most other selection are but not black with red accents??

i like it's not too orangey. we had the designo bengal red on our SCoupes and it was a darker red with black carpet accents (flowing lines) etc that looked great.

Better than the Maroon of our e55 amg!
I agree that it doesn’t look orange - I had the orangey red on my Z4. This is much more of a pure red. I actually like the red door cards and have received a number of compliments already on the interior. That said, it feels a bit “younger” than if they were black.

The USA 2024 order guide that has been posted in this forum has the same picture without the red inserts. It is called code 887. The pic you posted is 887A. Maybe that’s the difference. The Canadian DOG called the power red seats 887A and the red inserts are also missing.

Is your preference for standard or sports seats ?

Either combination will be the same for the rear seats but slightly different for the fronts.

The front sport seats in the 2 tone will have less red as there's more black on the side bolsters.

The option with red inserts will also come with red seat belts which will "brighten up" a little more the otherwise too dark full black interior.

Here's some IRL pics of the sports seats option in all leather, (standard seats already pictured in other posts).
