02 C32 vs 04 Cobra (Terminator)

Out in Mexico last night, I found myself racing an 04 Cobra (Terminator). Stock. No intake or exhaust or pulley. 6mt.

Started from a 45 mph roll (towards top of 2nd for me). Went to 125. Dead even.

Went from a slow slow roll (5mph or so). I had 1/2 car until about 100. it was even at 120. and the cobra had me by about a fender by 130 when we shut it off.

the driver was cool. quite knowledgeable about cars. has an 87 (or 88) Grand National project. Told me he works at a local BMW dealership....so I had to do a little smack talking on those E46s and 335s and such.....

those s/c cobras are no joke (at least for me). hopefully i will have my tune the next time i run into a Terminator in Mexico.

I have a buddy over here in Germany that has a 03 Cobra with a tune, intake and exhaust that wanted to race. Sounds like he would have got me. Im still looking for a fair street challenge (Autobahn) the M3's cant compete....LOL

It doesn't take much to make those things ridiculous. I knew of one that had an intake, pulley, tune, and heat exchanger, and ran an 11.1 at something like 122 or 123. Just be careful running them because most are usually modified.
