Brake pads for track day?
Hello,
I am doing a track day at Thunderhill soon. I have 5k miles of mostly around town on the car. How do I tell % of brake pad wear? Or should I just get a better set of pads & stuff 'em in before I go? Any recommendations on the pads? Also, any trick to install or pretty much like any other disk set up?
Thanks!

I found the Pagids,, can someone confirm the size that Pagid USA provided is right! 120mmX74mm from the widest part of the pad!
Pagid sells the C32 AMG / Brembo pad unfortunately not in the
S-compound but
in the RS19, RS4/2 and RS4/4 compound.
See attached compound description.
Please be aware that this pad has no wear indicator.
The Pagid part number is U1427. Please see attached drawing.
For availability please contact one of our warehouse distributors. See
addresses.
If you need any more information please let me know.

OK
I have the pads ON THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
There are none in the US now, but they are on the way from Europe! It will be a few weeks, but we have inventory coming in and of course will be putting a set on Vadim's car for 100% of the time! (that is untill the Brembo's are on!)
Thanks

Brad:
I measure the stock pad size to be about 120mm x 70mm which is very close or the same as Pagid's U1427 size.
Any input on that?

Brad,
Do you have any more info on these brake pads? I would be interested in ordering. Also do you have any experience with Cobalt or Hawk? Thanks, i am having trouble locating high-perf street/track pads that fit the c32.
