Moosejaw 1/8 mile run wow!

Well ,Drew and myself went to the 1/8 track and I was very amazed at what the car ran. It was Drew's first time there so he was a little nervous LOL but he managed to pull a 8.6 at 83mph. I thought it was to good to be true so I ran it and sure enough 8.6 at 81 & could of done better but let off to early but no excuses. I think all he has is a code 3 intake. Btw I pulled a 8.5 at 82 in my truck so all in all we had a great night.

Sounds fast, but for the uninformed people like myself, what kind of times do those translate to in the 1/4? Obviously its not double because you are traveling much further distances in the same time as the speed increases... is there even a way to extrapolate the time?

If you google it will come up. Just put in to convert it to 1/4 mile. It's about 13.3 or so not exact but it's pretty close.

Good times for both of you!

Kinda cool when a tuned diesel can give an AMG a run.

I'm going to have to say it all depends, 8.413 @82.699 1/8 mile translated for me to a 12.99 @107.779.... So it just depends 1/8 numbers can translate into a lot of different time in the 1/4 times

hey thanks rolly.
I was a little shy which is why I didnt to post my results on Franksworld.org
I have to apologise to Neihouma, i mistakenly told him 8.6 at 89 mph which prob caused him to panic and put his C32 up for sale. Dont do it Rey! I was incorrect. Im such a n00b

And here's Rolly's truck sponsored by Cracker Barrel....

Hooley the mph in the 1/8 mile can be a big factor in determining the 1/4.

that supercharger is coming on hard for a 2.0 60ft, looks like you may have had a touch of wheel spin.

No wheel spin, just ESP kicking in. Drew needs to get a Quaife.

I got a idea for your issue with the helmet. I got a good welder here at work that can seal your sunroof or you can ask ernie for his helmet.

maybe you took it the wrong way: When ever i get 2.0 60's my time is alot slower than yours in the 1/8 mile. Its only when i crack the into the 1.9 area am I able to run an 1/8th mile as fast as you. When ever I'm in the 2.0 area I've had some form of wheel spin... So seeing your 1/8 times and your 60ft made me think that the Supercharger was hitting nice and hard making power were my car does not.

02 C32 AMG sold!
Nah I didn't panic, when I trapped 91mph on the 1/8 I ended up with 118mph on my M3
at 12psi, I know your car can't trap 115mph in near stock form .

What you did made me do was wanting to test that track out and see how off that time
clock is compared to PBIR
