Absolutely no way would that fit... don't waste your time jturkel. The only mod that might get you more whine would be a 178mm crank pulley - but then you're dealing with the potential "running stacked" issues we're all familiar with. Can't think of anything else that wouldn't potentially royally screw up your current set-up.

Why don't you just use the code3/C32 splitter with the SL55 airboxes. All you need to do is modify the couplers.

Intake

First the space with the SL55 splitter is very limited and it lacks the nice little square plate in the back like the stock C32 splitter. The benefits of the SL55 splitter over the Code3 intake may be that all the air is cold and the splitter allows more and smoother flow thru that restricted space.

One poster suggested that the air boxes are pressurized and that could lead to some air flowing "out" thru the Code3 intake. That is highly unlikely. The only pressureization taking place is the ram air affect that pushes air into the airboxes at high speeds. My contention is that after the pressure drop across the stock air filters any time you are on the gas hard enough to be going fast there will always be a vaccum in the inlet tract until you exit the supercharger and that is all downstream from all the filters so their is no air flow going out thru the C3P intake ever. All the C3P intake does is add a 3rd filter that is ~half the size of one stock filter or approximately adds an additional 25% of extra filter surface area to draw air in thru. So only a fraction of the total intake airflow goes thru the Code3 filter while the rest goes thru the same stock filters. The net impact is about the same as if you installed larger free flowing filters in the stock location. The SC whine is just an added bonus and adds nothing to the performance of the car. But it does sound cool, lol

I think that on hot days the SL55 option is going to show more difference than it will in colder climates just because inlet air temps will remain lower. Has anybody ever been able to measure this?

i tried a little to this with a couple of couplers and it looked like a PITA.....also....I kind of want to have the bigger 55 splitter....i think the power gained from the 55 splitter is greater than that of the c32 with code3.......thats why i want to maintain the 55 splitter and somehow produce some more s/c whine without the loss of power

Yah, unfortunately, the 55 just has the y design and not the t of the c32.....adding power with a similarly designed code3 intake on the 55 splitter would be sweet, but i'm really want to do this for the sound i miss from the code3
