So it can be done!

Great to see that a 68mm SC pulley combined with a 178mm crank pulley will run just fine.

I have a 65mm SC pulley and plan on going to 170mm crank pulley. The 60mm/180mm is just too much boost for me.

i'm running a 185 / 70 setup without any problems. I'm going to dyno once i get my new spark plugs. It misfires at 120mph.

What's the PSI for your 185/70 on your IHI OEM setup? My formula shows that if it's a 2.0 litre SC, it would yield about 14psi which is almost the same as a 170/65 configuration. Correct?

i stock c32 runs at 14.5psi. The 178mm crank pulley you run around 17psi. Most people with 185mm usually run about 18-20psi. So i'm guessing i'm running closer to 19-21psi. I have the stock intake which limits the boost.

I never realized how much boost this OEM blower puts out. What's the size again? 1.8litre right? Stock compression on a C32 motor is 9.0 to 1? These AMG blocks are solid to be able to hold 20psi without a problem.

yeah its 9.0:1 compression ratio. I believe your right 1.8 L sc. I believe in Forza1 sc post he said the IHI sc was designed to operate up to 18,000rpm.

The stock map sensor maxes out at 22psi. I'm confident the sc can go higher if it wasnt for the map sensor. But then after 22psi...the stock intercooler can't cool the air well enough so you start getting diminishing returns.

If someone can figure out a way to design a more efficent intercoolor or convert it to a top mounted intercooler..it'll probably yield more hp then running anymore psi.

You are misfiring at 120mph cause you are running too lean, my car was misfiring and Jerry has solve it with retune more fuel.

i'm misfiring because of my stock spark plugs and gap. I need a smaller gap. I have a 106k on my car, so its duel for new plugs.
