Hey guys, I just bought a SC pulley bearing (32BG05S1-2DST) for my 2002 C32 AMG from BEARINGDIRECT.COM. I know that this PN is suppost to be NACHI Japan manufacture, but end up with the C&S 32BG05S1-2DST bearing from CHINA. Anyone heard of them? Is it SAFE to use this bearing or should i go buy anyother one? I have the scan picture of the bearing below please look at it and tell me what yall think. Please help.

Personally I wouldn't use any other bearing that not made in Japan. NSK and Nachi will always be made in Japan AFAIK. This size bearing is used in lots on industrial applications such as ACs / fridges etc...however they don't spin up to 10000+ rpms.Originally Posted by NamC32

i agree, just wait for the nsk one..remember that bearing has to work a hard life spinning at 12k+ rpm. You want the best for that job.

Here's the NSK PN if you don't already have it. 32bd45du
Sometimes it'll have M1 after that. I just had this done myself recently and the bearing that came for me had the M1 after that number. Been about 700 miles since then and so far it's good.
http://www.hpashop.com/product.sc?pr...&categoryId=58 carries the nsk one afaik.

The NSK p/n 32bd45du and Nachi 32BG05S1-2DST are the same size and/or
are equivalent. The C3 pulley came with the NSK and I've replaced it with Nachi.
So far so good (7 months now). I can't find any info regarding max. rpm on these bearings even in the Nachi website. What is true is that the NSK is OEM for the C32 clutch pulley.
Wouldn't that be a safe assumption? Question is does the C3 pulley require a higher speed bearing or will the OEM suffice?
