Hey guys its been a great 3 year run with you guys!

im deciding to part out my car and take a hit with the trade in.

im leaning towards a pre-owned 335i. (dark side) i know...dont hate me.

I still havent pulled the trigger, but will soon though.

i will come back to a mercedes sometime but i dont think its now, since i dont really see a model that i really want. SLK (not practical) CLK (why change). Im only in my early 20's and dont think anything else would suit me.

Like mentioned i will part out my goodies, on my 32!

i will post a classified page for my parts!

Thank you all for all the help throughout the years!

i promise i will check back often!

Again Thank you all.

eat ***** and die Alan, eat ***** and die!....LOL

pre-owned 335i. why are they pre-owned? because the fuel pump eat ***** and died or no oil cooler in early-mid 2007s. Especially BMWUSA are buying the car back instead of declaring them Lemon, so they can still sell the car as used certified pre-owned at dealership.

look for a pre-owned 2008 if that's possible. if not...wait it out.

335's are nice quick cars. I have to confess I was drooling over one not too long ago.

Good choice, hope you enjoy it more than the C BreakyTwo.

if your getting a new one, wait to see if the senate stimulus package passes into law. It makes new car loan interest tax deductable.

haha thanks you all!

Its hard parting with the 32, since i have always been in the mercedes family, but after owning an AMG its a whole different story.

Just looking for a car that would fit better, since i could get a pre-owned 335i for around 30~35K.

Well keep you guys updated!!

Yeah you might want to upgrade the suspension too. I test drove one last month and it felt really soft.

The latest proposal in the ESP is that the sales tax would be deductible off your income in 2009. So if the tax is $2,000 and your in the 25% t/b your saving $500 bucks.

originally its suppose to be both, the sales tax and the loan interest. But i think its going to be amended since the original 11billion tax cut is being reduced to 5billion

Quote:
The $11 billion provision sponsored by Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., was to make sales tax deductible as well as the interest paid on auto loans deductible on new vehicles of up to $49,500. The National Automobile Dealers Association said the buyer on a $25,000 would save $1,500 on average. The scaled-down tax break is now worth about $5 billion, said Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., one of the negotiators of a compromise. The proposal passed the Senate last week on a 71-26 vote.
