Did I break a the sparkplug?
If so, I wouldn't chance using it.
Whats going on with your plugs that you are changing them a lot (I know you're probably exaggerating with the 37 plugs!).
Are you using Denso Iridium plugs? They should already be gapped to spec.
I had Mercedes replace my spark plugs in early July just as scheduled maintenance. (12)
When I was replacing my intercooler at the end of the summer I decided to replace the sparkplugs as well. But since I didn't know anything about spark plugs I just bought the "good ones" that AutoZone had. Which were crap for the C32 (24)
Then I was having misfire issues and decided to replace those as well with pre-gapped .044 Iridium IX's I think. (36th)
A week ago or so I did some research in the C32 threads and found that epic post by Erick from LET from way back in the day and decided to go with Denso 20's. I have them on my desk right now and the stock "pre-gap" on this particular one (just out of the box) is .043~.044 (48th)
I am sorry it will be the 49th actually
I want .033 gap with the Denso's.
It's very hard to re-gap them without breaking or bending the electrode.
Seriously... "Bang it on the table until it bends to the right length" that sounds convincing until you start doing it

Not to rile you up even more, but perhaps you should be going with a colder spark plug (add on 12 more). With your power modifications, I would imagine you'd need the IK22's to prevent pre-ignition.
I'm sure you are just fine with the IK20's, but I'd check them after a while for the above symptoms.
I'm not so sure about the 'Bang it on the table until it bends...'. I've always held the plug in my hand with the side electrode and center electrode up. I usually tap the side electrode gently (but firmly!) with the head of heavy pliers (or similar implement) until I achieve the desired gap.
Don't worry man - it'll all work out just fine!

I know it will! I am cool about
Thanks for the support and the tips!
I was thinking about the 22 myself until I talked to Jerry about it. Oh well, either way I think it will be better than the .044 gap I have right now.
