anyone have these wheels on their w203 ?

i was wondering if anyone had these wheels on their w203 . . (C32 specifically)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-NEW-18x8-5x112-Replica-Wheel-AMG-Twin-Wheels-Rims_W0QQitemZ360129686619QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotor s_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item36012968661 9&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A317|66%3A2|6 5%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

will the offset 35 be alright for the front/back ?

i searched the picture thread and found no1 with the black ones, but alot with silver

EDIT:
for those interested

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...&AID=10398365&

is where you should buy (although there not black). offset seems a little bit more compatible

I wanted to get these wheels as a cheap alternative until I could find something I wanted. I got them at discount tire for like $100 a wheel. Long story short: We tried many offsets and the wheels would not clear the front calipers. The back wheels fit fine though. Discount Tire changed there website after my situation and made then no longer available when searching under an AMG model.

35 offset will fit the back only. It will not fit the front.

Strangely enough, Some members have gotten this type of wheel to fit.

Make sure that the spacers are "hubcentric"

of course

http://store.allsprings.com/shared/S...llsprings&All=

i guess that will make it a 40mm offset correct ?

will that (40mm) clear the front . ?

they sell 3mm spacers too

will a 38mm offset fit?

Pretty sure a 40mm in the front will work. Many others are running a 35mm rear/40mm front offset.

These almost look like the TSWs which i bought, (Not because they were cheap, just because i liked the way the looked) as TSW Don't make them anymore, i thought i was lucky to find a brand new set. 32mm In front would be the max, and thats what im running, Wouldn't go anymore than that, 35 in back will be just fine.

32mm In front on my car (TSW)

That is a great find, I love the way these rims look. But, will they look good on a silver C32? I know they would look great on a white or a black one.

a 40mm offset won't work on 18's. you need at least 30mm front depending on the design of the rim and a preferable 30mm rear. You should PM frankw about the offsets.

I'm running a 27 offset front and a 30 rear on 19x8's and the front barely sticks out. You can probably get away with just 5mm hubcentric spacers assuming your gonna get 18x8's all around and not go with a staggereed setup.

I for one have never used spacers. However I have some friends that have used spacers on mercedes (sclass w220 and clk500 w209) Both of them had spacers on the front wheels and they both had very bad things to say about over all driveability with spacers on the front wheels.

My friends clk500 looks abit funny too, as the front wheels stick out abit further than the back wheels.

damn . oh well i guess. ill just search around some more . i def dont want them to stick out at all basically lol

as for ppl that are gonna buy these, the seller also has 19x8, and all rims are 150+ Free shipping .

so you could order 2 of the 19's and 2 of the 18's if u wanted, and itll still be $600 . . .

(for the ppl that like staggered ^^ - including me)

i'm running a 15mm hubcentric spacer in the front and a 12mm hubcentric spacer on the rear with no vibrations or problems. Its fine long as its hubcentric.

white and whiter
18x8 ET35 "should" fit over the AMG brakes. however it depends on how thick the spoke and how big the lip is on the actual wheel. If they can't guarantee fitment from discount tires do not buy them unless you can return them if they don't fit.

adding spacers makes the offset number SMALLER, not bigger. ET35 with a 5mm spacer makes the offset ET30 not ET40.

all the above info can be found in the "aftermarket wheel thread" in the W203 section.
