Got bored with my CF lip
So I decided to do something different rather than just color matched it (l left the CF exposed in the middle). Came out good I guess.

by chance. did you paint the two ends because the bottom got scuffed up pretty bad? That's what happened to mine but I color-matched the whole thing.

I got mine scuffed up. I took it off sanded it with 800(wet) till the scuufs where gone. then sanded the whole piece with 1200 (wet) and shot it with clear (ppg). Looks great...no sign of any drama or truama lol. Took some time though and the shop charged me 50$ to re clear it if I brought it to them prepped. (sanded and ready to shoot).
I word of adviced try to go in and out of perking lots at an angle or don;t go into ones you don't feel like you can pull in safely. Or...have your GF get off and tell you when lol I do.

Personally, why spend the money on Carbon Fiber to have it painted? You can buy cheap fiberglass or poly urethane if you wanted to do that
. I LOVE the CF look, and to simply be bored and paint it, you have to have better things on your mind than this. Oh well to each his own, but IMHO what a waste.

Its cool, I respect that. I wanted to do something different, there are already a lot of cars out there with the CF lip. Beside, I had an opportunity to have it clear bra wrap for free so I decided to color match with a design.
AMG Sleeper, you can get the lip from Eurotek. I dont know how much it would cost to have it painted. A friend of mine owns a body shop so I asked him to do it for me (no charge ofcourse), and my neighbor (Sonic MS owner) installed it for me.
