i have had no belt issues and have been driving with it installed for about 2 months
Brandon said I would be fine with my stock belt as well. In fact, he said that the gatorback is slightly a difference size (longer) than our stock belt if i recall correctly.

I heard the same on Gatorback belt...but I say go by trial and error not by what I hear.
