Help - car troubles!!
I opened the door with the remote key, put the key in the ignition... and that's about as far as I got. Key wouldn't turn, felt like it was locked...
Figured my battery had gone dead and needed to be charged. I manually locked all the doors.
This morning I went out to try to jump my car and I can't even get in. The doors won't respond when I try to unlock the car. I never had problems with my doors not unlocking so now I'm even more worried...
Anyone know what I need to do?
unlock with valet key, charge it up and go for a ride.
What's the procedure?
Anyone having any problems with their factory CD changer? For some reason it doesn't see the CD's in the magazine. Sounds like its looking for them but ends up stating magazine empty. Weird...

Thanks for the reference tho!
Basically, the seat control modules have a feature that keeps them on even when the car engine is off, so that one can adjust seats without putting the key in the ignition. Unforunately, the modules tend to fail fairly regularly, the result being a current drain large enough to drain your battery overnight (although not every night).
The quick fix is to unplug the seat control module. If you reach under the front of each seat you should be able to locate 3 electrical plugs - removing these will disable your power seats, but save your battery and alternator (often secondary casualties of the seat control module malfunction).
