Went by again today. Should know by tomorrow morning. Oil pan had a minor leak from expired silicone after engine was installed. Setback by a few days... Head gasket also had to be replaced due to accidental pinched corner that was damaged.

Good luck. It seems like an impressively powerful engine. I hope your wrench guy pays closer attention to the details. As FLW said, "God is in the details."

Good News! Car is running beautifully according to Vadim. Rings seated just right. He is now installing the 82mm TB, phenolic spacers, upgrading the muffler and then tune it. Next up is the 190 crank pulley, larger injectors and well see what she will do on the dyno and drags in a week.

Good news!

Will you be receiving the daily discounts off of the final bill?

That's great news bro!

It sounds like you're finally getting close to completion. I'm looking forward to the numbers your car produces.

Good luck dude!

Thanks for the support. He's ready to dedicate himself and Brendan to your car next. btw... He needs your spare keyfob that was melted like mine during the fire in the shop. My side view mirror also partially melted and must be replaced by the insurance company. If there is any damage to the hood then the insurance company can pay for a high quality replacement silver carbon fiber hood that should shave another 50lbs of the car or .05 seconds off my 1/4 mile ET.

Congrats on getting it running! I've been looking forward to see what it does for a long time! Btw, Carbon hood won't save 50lbs. I think it saved about 20lbs, if even that much on my car. I wish I wrote it down, I was unimpressed. May have even been 15lbs

That's too bad. I'll be at Sac this Sept 4th. Hope to make some noise.

Yeah, I know. The bad news is that I missed placed my spare so we have to get new keys made. This has already caused a 3 week delay and we still have no keys. This car has given me such a fight.

But the good news is that my car was parked outside during the fire and my car didn't get damaged.
I'm fortunate for that!
