funny ****..!!! i wons saw like a 1985 astro van, gold plated up the *** with all lexus emblems and altezza lights.. funny thing is their cruizin down the street with an expression on his face as if his ride was the sickest ever.. so i gave em a thumbs up..

well that is certainly either very embarrassing or a pretty clever joke. either way that guy has spent waaaay too much time on that car. i love the E52 the best, that is what makes me laugh the hardest.

He has a Genesis motor that he stroked (or he shortened a 55 motor) and swapped-I give him props for mad engine work...and I think I remember reading that the Hyundai/Daewoo platform was used when MBZ thought of the E platform....

Yeah the interior was all cloth and not changed. It was pretty disco alright. It was in front of my office building (Wells Fargo) in dt SD.
I think the look was a serious attempt at posing, and not a joke. I really like how the grill was grafted in. Did you notice the guy even did the antennae and flat hood badge.
So it's a dawoo? hahhaa. I almost walked by it and said screw it but then decided to take some quick pics and share. hehe.

are people that concerned with what people think of them? and if so, isn't this exponentially worse than any possible gains - i mean wont most people notice that this is clearly not an MB and mock him more?? i am just baffled why anyone would dump so much time, money and energy into such a project.
