I can't help but think how robust AMG must make the transmission and diffs in these cars (knock on wood). This continues to be a good example and there are many others too..

Your shifts are right on, it even sounds like your shifting manually. The only shift you may want to look at is when 3rd goes into 4th. Again without logging your passes it's hard to guess at what rpm that took place.

The Viper pass almost happened in "C mode", comfort. One of my wires came loose from wiring up my Brabus shift knob light. The lanes were always moving and I lost sport mode. So I ripped up my shift knob cover plate and was wiring the car up on the spot. I just fixed it in the nick of time. I didn't even have time to put it back together so I'm racing with my console all over the place. Kinda funny.

I dont think I would Retro fit again. This car is amazing when racing and around town, but I think I'm would like to go a more conventional way. I think the AMG blower can make more boost than Kleemann or Renntech so thats a plus. That only helps me though when i get into an engine build.

Not a problem my friend. I have some ideas for you as well on that, but need the dimensions.

I was totally not expecting to get that kind of a launch at all I was thinking a 1.9 maybe a 1.8 60FT. When I launched it took my breath away the Hoosiers gripped and I almost passed out. The 1.6 60FT felt like a sucker punch, didnt even see it coming. I almost passed out. For real I got a bit dizzy because I didn't even know this car had that 60FT in it.
On the street:
Its just like any other car, Its rather sublime. When You stomp on it though it gets up and moves. Some times the trans has no idea what to do with all the wheel spin and shifting gears. Some times ESP kicks in near a gear change and the car shifts and cuts power.. That makes for a nice delay. If my trans could talk when that happens it would say "I dont know what to do?!"
Its a fish tailing monster.

Excellent times Hooley!
I have a question though, how come E55s with your same power output are running like 11.7s and your, being lighter, are running a tad bit slower?
I read about your MT and everything, but something seems amiss here...

I'm running a TCU tune right now. I didnt have it my last time out. were I was trapping at 117. Wheel spin will also play a roll in trap speed. Maybe my trans has alot of pressure in it with the TCU tune it maybe slowing my speed down. I going to work on it this week at the shop. My tire pressure was also 14lbs. IF it isnt any of those then I have no idea.

He knocked a full second from his previous time. That's on par with E55 running 12.15 with one mod if any, and fully modded knocking that full second off at 11.15. Once the top end hp is discovered or the ecu just needs time to adapt, it will come alive.
We will have to make a side by side pass on video to get the full visual version of the N/A vs SC motor. I predict he will have at least a car on me for the better part of half track, then the SC motor will come alive and we tie at the stripe. Sound good Hooley?

If torque was lower and hp was higher then you would see the mph. Also a big difference in boost, just because it's SC doesn't mean it's the same motor. It's still a n/a motor with a lower compression ratio. Much like a bracket car. I don't recall many E55's with that kind of 60'.

Really though You will tree me and I wont win. On a plus side for me my lower boost makes for cooler temps.

I think you have at least a tenth on me now, so the tree will be important. Traction is a must for you. I can soft launch and still be fine. Your torque monster is a bit harder to tame. That's why I said a best out of 3. So if your cooler you should remain consistent when I slow down. It should be a very close race. How about we do 2 sets of races and switch cars?
