Resonator Question

I see alot of guys on here have removed there resonator and seem pretty happy with the results. I saw some videos but that doesnt give me too good of an indication to how it will really sounds. Could someone who has actually had this done explain to me how it sounds in relation to stock. I also noticed that Supersprint has an exhaust now for C32 has anyone tried this???

when you first remove it, it just sounds a little bit louder.
i wasn't too impress at first.
after a couple thousand miles, sounds much louder and deeper.
i am very happy with the way my c32 sounds right now.

review of Supersprint

In a E36 M3 review of 10 brands side-by-side, Supersprint was one of a few aftermarket exhaust companies that added any real performance. About 5HP. SS had mostly other good qualities as well. This is a great review of several brands and dynos of each, even soundclips! (To bad it isn't on a C32, but I think it proves Supersprint should be worth a good look).

Guess where the actual tests took place, .... Evosport. I can't wait to hear what they say about the tests and Supersprint products.

Supersprint has always made high-quality exhausts, inside and out. We have not yet tested one on the C32, but they usually make decent power. Keep in mind, no muffler is going to make much of a difference in power. We recommend changing the muffler primarily for looks and sound, as they will effect those areas much more than power. As far as fit and finish are concerned, Supersprint is always one of the top.

I know that there have been posts about the resonator bieng removed, but can some one who has done this tell me little more about it, What exactly do you do, how much, and where can you get it done. Also does it mess with the oxygen sensor?

Thanks, Ed

go to a reputable muffler shop, ask them to cut out your stock resonator and replace with straight pipe. Cost about $50.
removing resonator does not mess w/ the sensor.

Could someone from Evosport let me know if it is possible to get the Supersprint exhaust. I was gonna remove my resonator, but I'd rather get a new exhaust. Thanks
