Renntech transmission upgrade
hey guys i was looking at the w203 section of the renntech catalog and i saw a transmission upgrade.....wat will this do...im guessing faster gear changes and thats it is there anything else it will bring me

I've had Renntech do 2 transmissions and it's the best bang for the buck in making one survive.

The Renntech transmission upgrade is really a set of heavy duty clutch packs. IMO its needed for cars under 400whp. Over time the clutch packs in the stock transmission can start to slip causing a delay in shifts from gear to gear in higher HP cars. A High stall converter will not stop the clutch packs from slipping. Thats if you have a slipping problem.
I would advise you to contact Ken Rudy at Renntech. He is a great guy and in fact a good personal friend of mine. He knows his stuff. His email is kenr@rentechmercedes.com Tell him Hooley sent you and he will help you out.
