Question Getting a MY2003 C32: Have some concerns

I've been reading up on this forum for the past few weeks and boy have I learned quite a lot of stuff. Since the car is used and has 50K Miles on it I'm making myself a checklist for things to lookout for and buy/replace:

- Will probably get a Johnson CM30 IC pump
- Code3 Belt wrap kit
- Code3 HE
- Code3 SC pulley
- New plugs and wires

This should take care of the idler bearings ...

Things to check for:

Seat controllers
Radiator Brand (did MB change their radiators from Valeo to another brand for MY2003?)

One question regarding the Crank Position sensor and Throttle Position sensors, how many of you guys have had this replaced? My guess is to replace these as soon as I see sign of failing( such as engine stalling for the CPS)

Have I missed anything else? ( I'm probably sure i did )

Thanks in advance!!

I was planning on buying most of the stuff if not all from LET Tuning. Yeah, I've heard that there seems to be some customer service issues. Thanks for the info, I'll look into it.

Lots of talk about crank pulleys lately, mine is starting to wobble at 70k miles. Im going to upgrade anyway, but there is a good thread down there somewhere about it.

all code3 money went directly to c3 for product purchased off site. Euro doesnt sell c3 products, and LET won't soon

sorry if i misqouted. i knew there was an issue as there have been so many threads on this subject.
to clarify i never meant to imply there was any issues with let or eurocharged. sorry if there was any confusion
i also want to say i never said code 3 wasnt legit. only that there have been many unanswered questions regarding quality and more importantly customer service. you need to decide on your own research as to whether or not you as a car enthusiast want to deal with them.

the are not any quality issues on the code3 products except for maybe the third gen sc pulley. They do have customer service issues. Its a hit or miss with them. Some members wait months to get parts, others only wait a few days. I got my code3 bearing and intake in 3days. others have to wait months.

Anyways to the op, i suggest replacing the crank position sensor as preventative maintence. They all eventually fail on the w203, its a question more of when rather then if.

I say just buy a eurocharged 185 pulley and HE and call it a day.

I remember a member or someone had problems with the 185 crank pulley on WOT. Just can't seem to find the thread. Not sure if it was a Eurocharged 185 pulley or was it that he didn't get a tune. If anyone can just chime in and say the 185 doesn't have any issues, i'm more than happy to go that route. I would imagine that i would also have to do a ECU tune to be safe.

Looks like C32AMGSC and C32used both got the 185s. How are they running guys?

Cheers,
