Glycol Contamination symptoms?
Hi, 02 c32 delivered home today, been searching and reading about Glycol Contamination. Car is 90,300 mile and has a Valeo Radiator (08/2001). I'll take the car out for a drive tomorrow, please advices me how to get to known about this problem and fix if it does before getting deep.............

I'm a newbie to this car, no experiences at all

The most common symptom is the car jerks around 2000rpm before it shifts into another gear.

i would replace it with a behr as preventative maintance. But you can know for sure if you get your tranny fluid tested for gycol contamination.

I thought these cars have that jerk no matter what radiator you have

If you start off in second gear the car doesnt jerk, just manually upshift in top drive after

mines the opposite. the car only jerks when its in Winter mode, it doesnt jerk when its in sports mode.

Silver 02 C32 & White 05 CLK500
I had the glycol contamination sympthoms. They replaced the transmission, the tcu, torque converter, and radiator. It cured the 1500 rpm jerk for about a month and then it came back strong as usual (mine only happened in W mode at 1500 rpm and sometimes in S mode 2-3 gear or 3-4 gear)

Yes there are jerks, either W or S mode at 1st gear, very light jerks at low speeds acceleration. According to C32 life the jerks are normal from 02 C32, because of the locking
No jerks at higher gears, I'll do the test and let see the update........What are you guys think?
