I've been quoted $750 for my front rotors + labour. Just wondering if there are better prices out there. If anyone knows the part # that would be appreciated.

thanks.

Ouch! How many hrs labour on top of that? Perhaps check out Evosport, EuroTeck or some of the other sponsors...

203-421-09-12 $130.00 each

I'm guessing the majority of that price is labor

labour for the job should only take 30 minutes at the most with a compitent mechanic.

its really just take off the the caliper (2bolts), remove one 6 point star screw holding the rotor to the hat, and reverse for install...voila, done.

Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale.

$102.00 per rotor

few bux shy of $230.00 for two (2) OEM rotors delivered. I just received them. They are definitely the OEM rotors. Easy transaction. However, I think you need to use the link through "trademotion" to get this price.

To get the link, access my thread about "Racing brakes rotors group buy." Follow the link at post number 30. I will bump the thread to make it easy for you to find.

Thanks to ///AMG4EVER for this find, BTW. Nice!

Cheers!

Try Tire Rack for a much better price than the dealer for the Brembo sport drilled rotors for your application. They come cad plated for rust resistence.

They have the MBZ part number ink stamped on them. I am 99% sure that they are OEM.

Not OEM, but made in Italy and the casting and surface is excellent, as good as Brembos I've used on other cars.

i dont doubt that at all but (correct me if i'm wrong) if i used a 3rd party mechanic to install non mb parts it will void my warranty?

Hey 14cue, before when I went to the MB in Richmond, they quoted me 3.5 hours just to change the front rotors and pads. So it is 3.5*$128/hr I think, not too sure about the current rate. I bought all the parts and took it to a shop in Richmond, only charged me $150 labor to changed the front brakes. Hope that helps.

I believe that the normal wear items such as brake rotors are only warranted for up to 20K km or 2 years. MB would have to prove that the non oem rotors caused a failure of other warranted parts. For piece of mind while still under warranty, it's probably a good idea to use OEM replacement parts.
