Hi guys , I bought my C32 about 10 months ago, and I am almost daily

checking every thread in this forum but I didn't participate before .

My story started 1 year ago after I sold my fast truck ML55 2003, and I

couldn't stand without AMG car, so I decided to get C55 or C32 but it is

a rare cars in this area of the world where is my work in (Saudi Arabia) but

after extensive Searching , my friend showed me this C32 in a prince palace

which was ordered by the prince with this special orignially painted designo

green Metallic color , it is unique color, Year 2002 but only run 30K miles,

with HRE 19"wheels, very clean C32 kept inside the Prince palace!

After I bought this car some of my friends love the color , some maybe not

much because its exotic ? I am sure about one thing that it turns head every

every where I go. I would like to know the forum members reaction?

Modification so far , I think I finished stage2 after I had tough time about

shipping the products overseas from US?

That color is available on the coupes in the US
Called Citron Green Metallic (am i correct FrankW?)
I dont why it is a designo color when it is one of our standard colors here

Saam - I think the green highlights the shape and style of the car pretty well. Damn good looking car. You should black out your tail lights though, to emphasize the rear-end lines even more

It also was available on the CL203 coupe and SLK 230
back then it was a trendy color.

 

I know what color you guys are talking about, I mostly only saw the C230K coupes in it, but I really do not think that the color that this C32 is is the same. I think this color looks much darker.

 

Just my opinion... I woulda taken a Rosso Red or something-- that looks like a sewage green.

 

This unique color is a (024U -DESIGNO-LIGHT GREEN) custom made by DESIGNO and definitely not the regular Citron Green Metallic. This paint was special ordered back in 2002, and it added more than $8000 to the price tag for this custom paint alone! As far as I know, this the only C32 on the entire plant with this rare color...

 

guess they may be different, but very close colors indeed. i dunno if it is worth $8K. I remember when they wanted $2K for Orion Blue or Tectite Grey.

I love the color of the car, but not the color matched wheels. I'm not a fan of color matched wheels on any car/color though. However- I still love that car for the simple fact that it's a rare combo.

 

I did not know Kermit owned a C32

 

Car needs some carbon fibre bits like a CF lip and spoiler and diffuser. A black grille
And paint the wheels a titanium grey finish (maybe with color match lip)
Then it would bad *** and I would approve.

 

To moosejaw my c32 color is different than Citron green Metallic, may be in pictures both are green but in reallity you are not gonna say the same.

To MIDO my plan is to keep the car in healthy condition because the weather here is so hot and dusty and may be I would like to keep this car forever...

I just finished month ago up grading the engine , from eurocharged products and the car now is really faster than before but I am still looking for more ...

No disrespect, BUT nice color only if you're going into battle!! In the City of Chicago, they'd see you coming from 1000 yards away and take that baby right out!!! For me, a Benz should be Black or silver, sometimes white or red BUT never green!!!!!

Interesting - didn't know that. Saw a Tectite Grey C32 when I was searching for mine ~2.5 years ago... great (dare I say amazing) color on the w203. Haven't seen one since - I guess if the paint was a $2k option, I know why it was such a rare choice...

That what Designo philosophy is all about! They produce highly exclusive range of paint finishes for those individuals who want to stand from others and want to be unique in their own way. In the end, it is all about personal tastes!

good looking c32 and nice wheels.. order your self a set of RENNtech lowering springs to get rid of the gaps in between your wheels and youll most definitely be rolln..
