Installed Black side markers

much better than the ambers. i really like how the grille came out as well as the black badges!
and yah, it looks like you would be cutting it really close with a CF lip up front. you would probably scrape or need to go super slow over bumps.

Are those the ones with a smoked lens or smoked interior housing. I have the smoked (Black) interior surface and with a slightly tinted clear lens to maintain the bulb illumination at nightime. I actually installed a PIAA bulb with a slighly bluish color to match my LED city lights which has a bluish color, too.
Otherwise, the car looks great specially with the blackened grill.

I was thinking the same thing this morning after putting them on, a carbon lip will really make it look nice, I want to do the trunk spoiler first tho.
My girlfriend thinks I should black out the tail lights, but im not really a fan of smoked tail lights, what do you guys think?

just make sure you have clearance to do a CF lip on the front if you decide to do it. trunk spoiler i would do first too though
i like smoked tail lights, but everyone has their own preference. i dont' know how many of the c32/55 guys have done it, but im sure there are tons of pics of them in the W203 section of many different ways it had been done with our lights

slightly smoked
My version of smoked lens. I didn't want to go any darker. And this was before I sprayed clear coat to make it shinier.
BTW those are LEDs, so they still come out just as bright at night and when you brake.
I used Vans to smoke them.

These are the markers I bought:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...ht_2824wt_1044
Seems like the ones I got.
I can't remember where I got the HIDs but were definitely from Ebay and were located in Texas and they're holding up after 2 years. You might want to check out http://www.ddmtuning.com/ for your HIDs. Don't go more than 8K Kelvins.
The 10Ks are absolutely bright and have a nice bluish tint color and are okay as long as they're aligned properly, otherwise, it'll **** off anyone in front of you.

white and whiter
no offense with any of my opinion/comments below, but just how I look at things.
smoked side marker only works/looks good on black or darker color car. If you have a light color car such as silver, white, or even red. save yourself the hassle from the possible harassment from cops for obscuring the required amber side marker and get the side markers painted and then have the bulbs wrapped in tin foil so they don't shine through.
OR get clear side markers with amber bulbs.

In my opinion it would look better as Frank said to Color match them to your car. I think it looks better to blend them in rather than make them stick out even more...check mine out in my sig.
It looks really good with silver sidemarkers and the black grill....I think you should do the same..

I know you can't please everyone, but I do appreciate everyones input on it. I personally love the way it looks and think it flows well with the theme I'm going with. Thanks everyone!
