Put an Audi R8 on the kill list.
I thought they had more in the tank. I was able to not only pull on an R8 this morning but pull alot on them. I raced this really cool guy about 5 times from a roll and from the time you can say "one Mississippi" My C55 would start pulling on the R8 and pulling hard. Have to say they are a great looking car. Event he way the LED headlight look in the day time one of my favorites.
Tell you what I even let the guy select the gear he wanted to be in before we raced. that didn't help him at all. I really need some sort of on board camera for this stuff. Wish you guys could have seen this it was fun bombing down a bombing down a 4 lane wide open street. BTW new top speed for me at 130mph in the C55...lol

Congrats! I love the R8 and its LED lights. I'd expect you to win a drag race, though, because if it's the V8 (i.e. not the V10), it "only" has 420hp. Weight is about 3,500lb. but does have the benefit of quattro. Good kill!!

)-R8's are not straight line cars tho-take 130mph into a turn and see who comes out faster-thats where they really shine-
love the looks too-saw one from FL up here last year when I had my Evo X-same results as you-not great cars from a roll...but damn secksy

yeah 130mph is all. I dont see a need to go any faster in my travels. If I'm pulling on an R8 at 130mph there really is no need to push it further.

There was one at the last track event around here, but couldnt get lined up against him.
There was a guy in an Ariel Atom though...he was pissed they wouldnt let him run against anyone else...made him run solo
Cant wait for the fall for AZ ... by then you should time for more vids

Congrats hooley! I am not surprised at all coz I have already killed one. I pulled on the R8 from a dig and stayed ahead about a full car length until 110 Mph then we both slowed down for a traffic light. The only mod I have is kleemann headers! But truly the R8 sounded like a monster!

I cant wait until it cools down out here so I can head to the track. There is no sense in racing out here vs the clock when everyone is much slower this time of year.
It was cool to get a chance to run the R8. the driver was cool and seemed very shocked by the way my car could pull. Really though I think its one of the best looking newer cars around.

This was by far my funnest kill. Its nice to know there are 100K cars out their that my car can beat. I think the driver of the R8 became a Mercedes fan from our quick talk at the red light.
