a car that can't do the throttle reset.
box in center armrest.

I have always just ignored it, but now for some reason I am curious. What is that big box in the bottom portion of our center armrest? Any remove it? Would be nice to have that extra space.

It looks like it is for phone connectivity? But I don't think anyone still using a StarTac. But I don't want to go ripping it out, and have to come back afterwards and ask for help to fix my self ownage.

I didnt have it on my C230. Instead I had a big cooler thing to put cold drinks and a sub sandwhich. When i got the C32 i always thought i got dicked over bc my C230 had this (what MBUSA called a cooler) storage compartment.

I guess they called it a cooler bc here in South Florida , the ac is on all the time. Therefore it kept everything cold.

funny you mention this. i do have a couple things in there. and whenever i open it up and grab something out of there, it is definitely colder to the touch. weird......i thought it had something to do with being right near the rear AC unit, but maybe im just an idiot?

Well, this box takes up more than half the space and seems to be pretty much useless.

Not possible. Find a buddy with a regular c class and compare. Ive compated three from 03, 04 & 05 Their storage compartment is a big empty champer large enough to swallow a 20oz bottle of coke. Our compartment is enough for some paperwork. The AMGs got a low blow in that deal.

its definitely a fan/blower for the rear ac.. i had a c240 with rear ac but it can only be controlled from the front ac unit with no speeds.. the center gets cold cus the air passes thru there.. the rear ac for the c32 can be controlled from the rear, can be turned on and off and has speeds which is what the fan is for.. DOING..!
